Waimairi Toy Library is an incorporated society – a not for profit organisation. While members undertake duties for our Thursday & Saturday sessions, we rely on a number of members who volunteer their time to undertake the management and administration of the library. This includes everything from purchasing and packaging toys, sorting out missing or broken pieces, maintaining computer software and databases, applying for grants and sponsorships, to making up our duty rosters. We also have a paid Toy Librarian who is primarily responsible for running the Library sessions.
Our Committee members visit and use the library much like regular members do, You will also find them supervising one of the Thursday or Saturday sessions if they have been rostered on for duty. Learn their names and find out more about what it means to be involved with your community toy library.

The committee meets on the second Monday of each month. Even if you are not on the committee you are welcome to attend and learn more about how the library runs.
Our annual general meeting (AGM) is held in March each year and this is when committee members are elected and confirm their individual responsibilities within the committee.
